Welding Training Course

– The regular training course in shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) and MAG welding focuses on:

+ Materials for welding workpieces.

+ Common welded structures in practice

+ Welding positions 1F, 1G, 2F, 2G, 3F, 3G, 5G

+ Occupational safety at work.

+ SMAW and MAG welding techniques.

Weld defects and weld inspection methods.

+ SMAW and MAG welding practice in positions from simple to complex, according to the requirements of partners and trainees.

– Program structure: 15% theory + 85% practice, delivered in modules (combining theory and practice)

– Flexible time and location according to the needs and work schedules of partners and trainees

* On completion of the course, trainees will be able to:

– Operate SMAW and MAG welding equipment proficiently and in accordance with technical procedures.

– Select suitable equipment, tools and welding methods, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness as required by the product.

– Produce welds in the basic positions that meet technical requirements, with few defects and a good finish.

– Inspect and repair defects in weld shape, dimensions and quality
